28 Weeks!!! Almost there!

Image
At 28 weeks I'm feeling really well still!  I can't believe this is the start of the third trimester.  I must be looking quite large though because it seems like recently people have been moving out of the way when they see me coming.  I found some pregnancy survey questions online that I'm going to use for this post.  That way I can get the main details in without forgetting anything. Due Date: August 21st, 2011 Weeks Pregnant: 28 Weight gain so far:  Not much, 10lbs. But im sure the bulk of it is coming... Yikes! Pregnancy Symptoms: Mainly my symptoms come from just being big at this point.  I have quite a bit of  back pain after I sit on the floor... or any hard surface really.  Sometimes it almost feels better to stand and walk around than to sit because sometimes it seems like I can't get my sitting angle right.  Make sense?  No?  I'm confused too. Other than that, my main pregnancy symptom from the first time around has come back fu

Pregnancy Chalkboard!!! I love pinterest. It gave me the awesome idea pf a pregnancy chalkboard. I have been doing them for a few weeks now and can't wait to show you have they have turned out. I will also tell you how to make them step by step.    How To: Supplies: large wooden frame paint primer glossy paint of your color choice chalkboard paint paint supplies large piece of flat plywood that is cut to the size of the inside of the frame (only use if picture is not usable) Find a Frame or Two Find a large picture frame with a sturdy piece of backer board. I found my large frame at Goodwill for less than $10.00. If your frame doesn't have a good backer board, get a thin piece of laminated plywood to use for your surface. First clean it off with a damp cloth. Allow to completely dry before applying paint primer on it. Once the primer dries, then paint over it with glossy paint. The gloss will make it more durable for children and

Onsies!!! I have to admit, I have been getting alot of ideas from pinterest. This was one of the ones I chose to do. Neck Tie onsies! They came out so cute! Materials Baby bodysuit or tee, Gerbers onsies tend to chrink alot, I went with the walmart brand. Tie pattern (see link to pdf at end of this post) Fabric scrap for tie – you could get away with as little as 4″ X 8″ or 5″ X 6″ if you’re cutting the tail piece at an angle. Wonder Under, same sized as your fabric. Wonder under is hard to find. I went to the local craft store, Pat Catan's, and got the most similar product. Thread Sewing machine or hand sewing needle I was going to draw up my own pattern but decided to google it first and a bazillion freebies came up.  Here is the link of my favorite that I used (with a FULL tutorial)  and whipped up one or two...or five. Whatever :)

I wanted a girl. I have 3 neices, I have 9 Aunts not including my Mom. It was in the cards right?!... NOPE... I was so nervous that day. Of coarse, Kyle came along, and was runnign late, whats new.We  made it. They called us back. The 'baby' at that minute did NOT want to cooperate. He was hiding, the nurse said. Finally, the time came, she asked "are you finding out what your having?!" Our response, "uh YES!!!" She finally said " ok...OH YEA, your definately having a... BOY !!!" Kyle's response I wouldn't expect anything less. He said " YES!!! I came through!!!" What an Idiot I thought with a chuckle. I for sure thought I would be dissapointed. I wasn't. It was something I was going to get used to. I was having a boy! WHEW, this is crazy. Its finally REAL. This is it! No turning back... We called our families (we drove deperately) Kyle called his Mom and Dad. I called my sisters on conference call. Julie of

December 30th, 2011 The day our lives changed forever... WE'RE EXPECTING!!! After going through a miscarriage a few years back, we were not sure how to handle the news of this one. I hadnt felt good for about a month. I didn't get physically sick but smells bothered me REALLY bad. I knew something wasnt right... I took the test in the morning like they tell you to. HOLY cow it came up positive. Kyle was sleeping at the time. I just took a deep breath and went on in. "Kyle, It came out positive..." His response..."ok" lol I thought it would be worse. 9 am rolled around and I immediately made an appointment with my family doc. Off to the doctor I went. We couldn't really figure out how far along I was at that point so he scheduled and appointment to have my first ultrasound done. January 5th, 2012 Our little Peanut :) Due Date: August 21st, 2012
