30 Weeks!!!

I had my most recent doctors appointment. I passed my glucos test!! With flying colors I may add. Doc said I am very anemic so I have to start taking an additional iron pill from the pharmacy. Not a big deal. I could tell, I was getting more tired which could have been a mix of low iron and just basically being pregnant. She also said, our little guy is small. Which right now isn't a bad thing, but they want to start monitoring how he is growing. After my July appointment I have to go every 2 weeks. If he is still small at my 36th week she wants to do another ultrasound. Im not to worried. Kyle and I are not that big. A small baby could be a good thing, for delivery I mean. All I am worried about is he is healthy and strong!  Oh man! Its getting close!!! 10 more weeks to go!!!




How far along? 30 weeks
Total weight gain: 17-20 lbs! I need to start watching what im eating and drinking. Im also trying, a BIG trying, to stay away from pop and drink more water.
Maternity clothes? I think I'm going to need some more :/...this belly is getting bigger by the day! That or more dresses!!!
Stretch marks? Still none!
Sleep: It's ok still...with some weird dreams!
Best moment this week: Seeing the shower invitations! It was supposed to be a surprise BUT thats ok, I feel better knowing the theme :) Sorry Krissy, Jody & Ally!
Miss anything? Sleeping on my stomach...as always! Sleeping on my sides makes it feel like my stomache is heavier than it is. NOT comfortable.
Movement: He is partying away! I call him our little ninja ;)
Food cravings: Popsicles. I may have to start getting the sugar free kind :|
Gender: BOY!
Labor signs: none!
Symptoms: Swelling! No matter what I do my ankles and feet are HUGE
Belly button in or out? In! I have a feeling mine is not going to pop. Doc said I have a deep belly button
Happy or moody most of the time? More happy than moody. Some things crack me up...I was CRYING with laughter watching americas got talent the other night....Watch the video. The quality is bad because it was recorded on my phone but I seriously was crying...Kyle and I have also been a little goofy. A pet peeve of mine is in couples pictures. When a man holds their pregnant wife, girlfriend, baby momma's, whatever it may be stomache in EVERY single picture. We were joking around and decided to do one of our own. I LOVE this picture! I think its hysterical!
It's just a joke and We had fun doing it :)

  Look what I made! It's a shadowbox filled with Luca's hospital stuff including the outfit he wore home, his first hat, the hospital bracelet, and his birth announcement, ambilical cord { I sealed the cord in plastic and put it in the diaper. Not everyone would want to see it, but I wanted to keep it somehow without losing it.  I love how it turned out! I totally jacked this idea from Pinterest {of course}. But I had to add my own twist to this project, and now I think my box is far superior to the ones I saw online {I might be a tad bias though}. SO you wanna know how I did it? I was 30 years old when my boyfriend of 7 years, Kyle, and I found out we were expecting a baby! We were really excited to have a little person that will have a little bit of both of us. I hadn't been experiencing morning sickness,but smells were REALLY bothering me. I wasn't the type to have a "normal" period so we didn't know something was up. After a couple weeks of experiencing the smell sickness I figured, lets try a test...POSITIVE!!! It was a very nerve racking day for us! I had a very normal pregnancy with the occasional aches and pains here and there. Once I reached 39 weeks along, I was absolutely ready to have this little guy. I mean I hadn't gotten huge but very uncomfortable!! I had gained over 30 pounds overall!!  Not many cravings... just the routine need to wake up at 2, 3, and 4 am to use the bathroom. 5 Years ago this week...

Today, most of you know, Kyle and I are going to be parents! Im 33 weeks today and we are more ready than the last time. I firmly believe that at that time we were not ready. We are older, more stable in our positions at work, just all around grown up. This is our time and we couldn't be HAPPIER :) Here is our story... {This was written when Facebook didn't exist and Myspace was all the craze. Its past tense, but makes sence} Kyle and I went on vacation on June 29 th through July 7th, 2007. We went on vacation so I could meet my father, Ken. That went ok but… We weren't even there for 3 hours and all hell broke loose.  We started off driving for 20 hours straight.
